​Business Analyst Microsoft Dynamics,   Harley-Davidson Dealer Systems

​From 2014-2015 I served as a Business Analyst on  Microsoft Dynamics implementation project.

My Role:  Business Analyst supporting the US re-release of CONNECT Global, a Microsoft Dynamics system with custom web interface for dealership users.

My Customers:   Harley-Davidson dealership owners, sales managers, and salespeople.

My Responsibilities and Achievements:

Requirements gathering and functional specs:  
Wrote functional specifications for  integration of sales deals between accounting systems and CRM systems.  As a result users would not need to maintain data in both systems.   Provided requirements for web page changes, requirements for the configuration of new entities and elements, and user security profiles.  During a beta release, I worked onsite at a Harley dealership.  ​After the beta release I conducted webinars to demonstrate functionality to dealership end users.  


Reporting
Configured a set of six Microsoft Dynamics dashboards showing vehicle sales, opportunities, and activities to help the dealership sales manager evaluate sales staff usage of the CRM system.

Data Analysis Used Microsoft Access, SQL, Python, Regex to find duplicate data, evaluate data patterns, evaluate error frequency, answer ad hoc questions.

Lead Integration: Wrote functional specifications for web service integration to MS Dynamics system.  The integration allowed lead sources such as dealership websites, used bike websites, and loan application system to feed the CRM system.  Mapped WSDL fields to CRM data fields on contact and opportunity.  Created and executed test scripts for integration.   Monitored lead integration web service for errors system downtime.

Project Support
CONNECT Global had an initial limited beta release to 4 dealerships.  I made visits with the team to dealerships in New York City and Paducah Kentucky to check in after they converted to the new Dynamics System.  Collected bugs and enhancement feedback.  Provided user training on functionality.   The information collected in the onsite visit was used to create training webinars for the release to all dealerships.

Created and executed test scripts.
Supported hypercare by investigating and logging defects.

Completed project which was rollout of system to all US dealers.
