Business Analyst ABB Zürich 2006
As a global company, ABB at times had opportunities for an employee to take a temporary position to gain experience living and working abroad.
In 2006 I participated in a six month position working out of the Global Headquarters in Zurich, Switzerland.
The project objective was to replace all local ERP systems in each country with SAP instances. With so many countries converting to SAP, my responsibility as a business analyst was to collect must-have requirements for each country, and to look for ways to consolidate and re-use the efforts when several countries have similar needs.
I also enjoyed the challenge of living in a non-English speaking country, travelling on the weekends in Europe, and meeting new people.
